I drove a long distance in November and my battery has been great until now that I just use it to pick up the kids and it maybe sits for a couple weeks without starting I need to jump it should . I, thinking about dropping in a 250 amp instead of a 145 amp. I have a lot of extra stereo equipment in it light 10000K lights, Three big screen TV's and I'm also installing an amp with a Rockford amp that pushes 350 watts my 8" 350 watt rockford in the place where the 2000 suburbans used to have back in the day. Plus I am running an Alpine D310 which has a brain to run and a bunch of LEDS do you think upgrade to the 250aA

You should get your battery load tested. Shouldn't be dead after a couple of weeks without starting. And get your alt tested. Yeah a bigger alt would be better but if your battery isn't up to par it wont matter you will just burn up that alt. I have high wattage amp and I have let it sit for about 2 weeks and she fired right up.

If all you do is drive short distances for short periods, your battery will get drained over time because your alternator doesn't ever get a chance to replenish it. With all of the a/v stuff installed it's a no-brainer. You need to take her up to highway speed and drive her.
Installing a higher amp alternator would also greatly help out. If you haven't upgraded the powers/grounds, that would be a good time to do it as well.

Just stick a trickle charger on it if you plan on letting it sit for a while.

I personally would do a current draw test and make sure something isn't drawing too much current while the car is off.
