Anybody out there with a PPV/SSV Tahoe or Yukon, or is in Law Enforcement, can you shed some light on the Run Lock system works in the Patrol Cars? I have read the owners manual but came up short on anything relating to this. I would love to be able to take my keys out and keep everything running, for small quick runs back into the house or to the mailbox. Thanks!

Run Lock: Able to remove the keys from the ignition and the engine and all equipment still runs.

I have a 2010 Tahoe PPV for work that does not have a run lock. However you can leave a key in the ignition with it running and lock/unlock it via the FOB. I believe most run/lock devices where you can remove the key are aftermarket additions put on by the agency.

Sorry all. To stay on topic I like the key fob idea.
