1st: does anybody have step by step info or pics or video on how to install a body lift on a 99 older bodystyle yukon 4dr with no third row seating?


2nd:how do i get rid of the drive shaft noise of start off its kinda like a squeek and a little jerk off of start off. does it just about everytime you start moving forward.

body lift is pretty easy idk about a step by step directions should come with the product, as for the drive shaft noise how is your u joints? is your spline greased?

Body lift is simple. Remove body mount bolts. Jack up body. Insert blocks. Install new bolts. Theres some other things you need to add in, but nothing TOO complicated. Just don't snap off a body mount bolt lol


Check u-joints. Sounds like it's a worn out u-joint to me

Thanks guys lots of help. But one more question?if you done your torsion bars and blocks how often do you have to change ball joints? BC ive heard you
have to Change them often

not so much although cranking keys does add stress to them i found that if you buy a good brand such as MOOG they last a good while all in all lift + big tires is going to add stress to any vehicle as the vehicle wasnt ever designed with lifts and tires in mind from the start , ball joints are just a start cranking keys also affects axle ayssmblys wearing out prematurely . coupled with bigger tires your brakes, gears, drivetrain, and powertrain all notice the added hieght and weight .

balljoints, cv axles, tierods, and idler arm all wear out faster with bigger tires and a torsion bar crank just makes it worse.
