I've searched quite a bit on this and no dice specific to this vehicle

Any way to improve the performance of the satellite radio antenna?

Antenna upgrade? I wouldn't mind deleting the roof mount one and hiding one somewhere...

While I'm at it, deleting the onstar antenna would be nice too.

There aren't any upgrades unless you get an aftermarket head unit and a new XM kit since the factory antenna won't plug into anything but the stock radio. You won't ever be able to hide a satellite antenna because they need a clear view of the sky. The wire that comes with a new antenna is long enough you could mount it in the middle of the roof where no one would see it.

Thanks for the post. So an aftermarket antenna cannot be spliced in?

My wife complains about the reception, its much better in our Jeep.

I might remove the crossbars. Wonder if those get in the way @ times...
