In market for 12-13 LTZ or Denali. Cant decide

Find an 09 Tahoe LTZ. It has best of both worlds the 6.2 and the front end lol. I've had 4 Tahoes two being ltz, one Denali and one escalade and the only difference to me is the front end, different leather, the 6.2...and more chrome trim. Other than that I feel like they're all pretty much the same. If you need the power go to the 6.2 but if not the 5.3 is sufficient and way better on gas mileage.

If your concerned about gas mileage, from what I've seen there isn't that much difference between the 6.2 and the 5.3. The 5.3's I've run in Tahoes have done in that 20 mpg and the last two 6.2's we have had are pretty consistent at that 18 mpg. Myself, I would rather have extra power and a little down on mpg's then wishing I had more especially when it's windy and or running in the hills.

I got 10-12 MPG on my 07 esky 6.2 and 09 Denali 6.2. I average about 15-16 MPG on the 08 and 10 Tahoe ltz's that I had and currently have.

Just got back from a 450 mile round trip running interstate and some in town driving. Cruise set at 83 for most of the trip and it averaged 17.5 and we had some side wind. Yes in town driving both will be less and the 6.2's we have had ran around that 12 mpg in town. The Tahoes with the 5.3 weren't much better though for in town and the power difference is noticeable.

Power difference is definitely noticeable. But I just didn't need it. My numbers were city MPG not highway. Annually gas is a lot cheaper for the Tahoe so that's why I got another Tahoe instead of a 6.2 gas guzzler especially with gas prices on its way back up. Keyword eventually lol.

Well after looking many local 13-14 Denalis i was about pull trigger on low milage 14 black on black, went into dealership with loan check and turn offer down. I figure out i drove my LTZ for 6 years, and i was about to dump $40k on almost same thing that i had for past 6 years. No. So i walk out of dealer and quick search on autotrader and found a few used 15 Denalis. They wanted $57k with 30k miles and than i found out you can get brand new 16 Denali for $58k. So i hit autotrader for new 16s. Found a few test them out and pulled trigger on fully loaded black on black 2016 Denali
