Very nice! Welcome from Orlando. I have to see that center stack in person. I have liked our 2022 layout and as I've gotten older I don't like things "changing around" on me. Oh well, going to the Dealer this week for service and I do plan on taking a look at the newer stuff.

We did run a couple errands in it last night, so I do now have a few first impressions. For background, I’ve never owned a GM product, and had never driven a full size SUV before yesterday. Kid #4’s arrival necessitated a move up to something this size, and even though we’re coming from an Explorer, we just didn’t like the Expedition when compared to the Yukon. This was supposed to be my wife’s DD, but after sitting in a couple she decided that’s not happening. So this will be for full-family road trip-type duty, and she’s swapping the Explorer for an X7 (this worked out nicely for her….). But after driving the Yukon a bit yesterday, I agree with her - it’s a large vehicle and even though it drives very well, there’s simply no hiding its mass.

All that said, it’s amazing and I’m so glad I waited for the 25 instead of getting a discounted 24, especially since the price was right around where discounted 24s are listed anyway. The tech is really impressive, and although I was a big skeptic of the massive screen, I love it now. The Denali Reserve wheels are pretty nice looking, and overall I’d say the fit and finish are at least on par with a modern Ford, if not slightly better. It’s definitely more polished than our 21 Explorer, and probably my 23 Raptor as well.

The only head scratchers so far are that I can’t figure out how to pop the rear hatch from the driver’s seat, and the lack of LATCH anchors in the 3rd row. I’m otherwise thrilled with it, and the kids love it too. Overall it’s a people-mover, but a pretty darn nice one. Hopefully the 6.2 stays together and this will serve us well for years!
trust me they shrink considerably over time, I can't bring myself to own a "small" car anymore it's kinda scary to even thing about.
also there's no button on the roof console for the rear hatch glass? if not there should be a explanation in the owners manual.

Thanks for the comments. Fyi to open the lift gate /hatch from the driver seat just press the centre of the dial that allows you to adjust how far the lift gate opens (near the garage door opener buttons)… took me a few weeks to figure that out lol

On that note, if you want all the interior lights on, press one of the reading lights up by the garage door opener and hold it for a few seconds. That took me 4 months to figure that one out.

Yukons are the hot ticket right now. There’s probably about 10 states in the US where the Yuke’s, all the way back to Gen 2, get 10-20% over CMV on sales & trades.

Before your first brake job up front consider and research the Brembo upgraded front brake kit. You can offset the cost of the next brake job with a huge safety and performance upgrade.

The whole thing about these giant loafs is they’ll get you out of trouble (more so with better brakes) as well as protect the family when you can’t avoid it.
