How dose one find out, what out of the three tow packages they Have?
Will a VIN # tell you?

I'm not familiar with different tow packages on these vehicles. Can you elaborate?

If there are multiple packages then the RPO codes in the glovebox should tell you what you have. You can find RPO code lists all over the net that should decode them for you.

I just picked up a used Tahoe at a auction. As I was thumbing through the
owners manual page 9-76 it gives the rear end Axle Ratio and Maximum trailer
weight.
I just goggled RPO codes. Got it
