The actuator for the inside/outside air vent will work when reprogramming (as in it goes to the open limit, then all the way to the close limit) but then stops there and never moves again. I press the recirculation button on and off. The light goes on and off accordingly. But the vent always stays pulling outside air only. I tried a new actuator, it does the same thing. Goes through the motions, then stays set to outdoor air only no matter what you press on the hvac control unit. Auto, manual, high fan, low fan, cool, hot, doesn't matter. Any ideas?

Having the same exact problem right now. Replaced mine with a OEM actuator a couple months ago. Worked fine after install. Noticed I wasn’t feeling a change in fan speed when I switched between recirculate modes. Took and look at the door as I perform sparkys reset with the same results. Ever figure it out?

There's only 2 things really that can cause this.
Either the actuator or the control head itself.

Be careful with aftermarket actuators, they may not work right and cause more issues. Best to stick with the OE brand
