So I have the same dash crack that every tahoe, avalanche, suburban, yukon, and denali from 07-13 has.
I have replaced this dash already with a oem dash for it to just crack again.

First here is the finish pictures I am happy with it I think it does not stand out if you did not own this truck I don't think you would see it.

I started sanding the dash down with some 220 grit
Sprayed it down with windex (says a ammonia type window cleaner)
I decided to take a soldering gun and try to melt the cracks back together (hoping to prevent rattles later)
test fit
put a bead down of the supplied silicone
put it down I wedged a blanket into the windshield taped the edges and but weights and clamps down
