Hello! I did not see much, if any information on folks installing these, so I just wanted to share that I successfully installed a Cold Air Inductions Intake on my 2025 Tahoe 6.2. It was just as simple as you would think. For the current discounted price ($399) you get a great kit that goes together very nicely. The filter itself is HUGE. It's not your typical "cone" style filter, but has an angular, and oblong shape. The housing is simple and easily mounts right to the bottom of the existing air filter box. The entire install took me 25 minutes, and I really took my time. Aesthetically, it really cleans up the engine bay. It's a very clean looking kit. I was debating on this or the Rotofab, but i really prefer the looks of the CAI. As far as performance goes it's too early to tell if I've gained any MPG's per their claim, but I did have some fun n the test drive! The sound under load (especially WOT) is nice. Not too loud, but just audible enough to sound like the sweet V8 it is. I don't have a performance exhaust and am not sure if I want one. I like the comfort of this vehicle and I'd like to avoid any drone...especially the wonky drone in V4 mode!9f024ee1-95c9-4605-8d99-d28dcf468710.jpg cd955dce-8792-4a76-877d-7343ae0c8776.jpg

It is a very clean and good looking setup, and I'm sure that it sounds great. My question to you is, where is the intake air going into the air filter box coming from. Is it connected to an air supply from outside of the engine bay, or is it pulling air from inside the engine bay. If it is pulling air from inside of the engine bay, then it is not really a cold air intake system.

I don't know about the 6.2 Tahoes, but the 6.2 Yukons already have CAI installed as OEM equipment, with the air intake actually connected to the quarterpanel with the air intake coming from the other side of the quarterpanel (outside of the hot engine bay).

I believe it's the same. The filter box is sourcing air from outside of the engine bay.
