looks BRIGHT haha. are your depo's chrome or black? only ones ive found so far are black that are affordable...chrome ones are about 450-500 for the pair and i just cant justify that right now and black would look out of place with our XL....

any issues on the HID fogs? i read someone on here had an issue with the length of the bulb hitting something inside...

Very bright!! They are black.....since my Yukon is a darker color it blends in pretty well. I had debated the chrome ones too but the price killed it for me and I ended up liking these a lot.

I had to push the shield inside the lamp towards the front a bit so that it wouldn't hit. I pushed it with a screwdriver...it almost looked like it was going to snap off but it flexed. The shield sits a tiny bit lower than normal but it made enough room for the bulb.

Dang. Hella bright. In one of those pics, your 35w fogs look brighter than your 55w headlights. Crazy

What brand HID did you get? I have 35w 6k HIDS from DDM. More blue than I expected and output not as bright. Not sure if it's because of the smoked fogs or 6k, but I'm liking your 5k lights. May have to switch

I got DDM lights. The fogs are bright but not as bright as the lows. The lows project the light farther....you can see that in the pic where both lows and fogs are on. The fogs seem whiter than the lows....might be the 55w washing out some color....

Looks Hella Good. I just Did the DDM 3000K 55Watt Fogs in Mine so I can see in Fog and adverse weather. I had mine Tinted but riped the tint off and it was Ten times brighter BTW. I Like Your Projector housings BTW, They look really good on Your Dark Blue Yukon.

5000k is nice in the fogs, here is my HID6000K in fog, I have 4300K for low beams, currently have 6000K on order for replacing low beam to 6000K so they match. I like the 4300K but like 6000K a little better, still bright, just more of a brillant white/touch of blue. Where-as the 4300K is white/almost halogen white. With the after market lense setup for low beams could not go with typical 9006 model, had to go with D1S style

Looks good. Love bright lights. When I turn my high beam lights on, they look yellow now......and they're Silverstar Ultras. I need a whiter, brighter high beam bulb without going HID.

Any ideas?

Thanks....I'm glad that I did buy the black housings, though the price on the chrome ones pretty much decided for me....haha.

Your not worried about melting the housings with the 55w lights?
