Hello, Im new here so any help would be greatly appreciated. I bought an 05 tahoe LT with Bose. I also bought the Factory style Delco GM Navigation. I installed the unit so obviously when I first put it in it said "theftlock activated". So I took it to a buddy of mine at a Chevy dealership and he unlocked it with a Tech 2. The unit is unlocked but there is NO sound coming out. Everything is working but you cant hear a thing. He said there may be some kind of code he needs to go in and kind of trick it or something. Do any of you Know the code or can you offer me any advice? Also after he got done my gas needle is almost upside down. Like I have two tanks of gas (thatd be nice). Any one know how to fix these things? Thanks in advance.

There were two types, one for normal trucks and one with a luxury package from the Denali or Escalade.

You may need to swap out your amp.

I think I may have figured out what i did wrong. Can someone please clarify for me I bought the LUX unit and I have an LT tahoe with bose, i figured this was the LUX model since it has bose, am I wrong? I couldnt find a "y91" in my glove box anywhere i just figured y91= with bose LUX and the non lux=without bose....Is this correct or even with bose do i need the non lux unit?? thanks in advance

that's right...
you need to install the lux amp, not that plain bose amp.

and you will have to repin the connector.

ALso your Cluster issue is probably the stepper motor going out. IF under 80,000 miles have GM replace under warranty.

otherwise, replace all the steppers with the redesigned ones yourself
