Installing SIR-GM1 on OEM Stereo

Anyone ever done one of these? Any tips would be helpful, the website makes it seem pretty easy.
My 2004 tahoe doesn't have the stock XM receiver, would I need to flash the computer or stereo?

No you do not need to flash the computer. Just install and plug into the empty socket on back of radio.. I have one in my 2004 tahoe works great. I put the unit behind the instrument cluster.

I have an 06 sierra denali and am interested in installing the p4200. I have all the options including xm, onstar, steering wheel controls, rear seat entertainment center, and 6 disc cd changer. Has anyone done the install and if so is the 4200 compatibile? I would like to keep everything functional. Any information would be much appreciated.
