I have a 2010 yukon Denali with the bose system , my wife got me two l7's for xmas and I wanted to install them , Im familiar enough to know how to run the power under the moldings and where to run the remote to in the fuse box, But I have no idea how to wire the amp so it actually gets a signal , any way anyone could give me a quick how to or point me in the direction of where to get one ? thanks

Your going to have to get some sort of converter, like a lock pick or a line out converter which splices into your factory speaker wire then gives you an RCA out.

tap into the rear speaker wire use a line out converter ,from the splice and run that loc to the amp for the subs ready to go ive tried using the loc they talk about on this site like $18.oo from walmart or wherever they wont work on a big amp they are only good for 2oo watts you must get a good one like audio control the cheap ones work but not in my case ,im also running 4-12" and a true 2500 watt amp on the subs

yeah man i wouldn't go to awl mart.. say a best buy or other audio electronics store.. its called Line Output Converter.. and this convert take your stand speaker wires and converts it to RCA cables so the amp can read it.. since its subs and you prob won't be using left and right you can just hook it to the existing sub wires or and speaker the Line output should have two grey and two white. each with there soild and one with a black line as a negative.. you would tie bot negatives together and both positives together and hook it to the pos and neg on the stock speaker (respectively) to get you signal.. then just use your RCAs from the converter to the Amp this is how it gets its signal from a STOCK standpoint (assuming you are running stock..)

if you ever decide to go aftermrket on the radio the RCAs will plug straight to the Radio and you will skip the whole Line output converter deal.. although the line output would still work with aftermarket Radio as well

thanks for the great info, where can I find the stock sub wires so I can splice them to the line out converter? thanks
