Installing universal joints and have a question

I am installing new u joints in my 1995 yukon. I have a question when I pulled out the driveshaft yolk in the transmission and about a pint of transmission fluid ran onto the ground out of the shaft where the yolk came from. Is this normal or do I have another problem that I need to address.

no thats norm i just replaced both front and back your fine also before i replaced i lubed the yolk good.

hey bud ya thats normal just top it up probably wont have to though cause it didnt leak enough to read on the stick
