Okay, in all my infinite wisdom I managed to blow out the LEDs which illuminates the parking brake indicator on the instrument cluster. Anybody know what size and color the trouble light instrument cluster LEDs are so I can buy another one?
It's an axial, white, diffused (milky color) of some type, not sure if there's more to it than that or not? Maybe this one works? https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11121
Anybody know for sure?
FYI ~ I my dash stopped working so I took it apart and began testing various parts. I tested the LED(s) with a 9V battery. That one blew up in the process. After I could find nothing else wrong, I went back to fuse box to realize the fuse labeled radio is actually for the instrument cluster too. That was the issue all along. Sigh.
