My 09 Tahoe LT cluster goes crazy but does not effect the way the truck drives the gauges sometimes dip off and come right back or the cluster sometimes just won’t come on and I’ll have to keep turning the key on an off to get back on
I’ve tried many different things I’ve grounded the truck the best i believe it can be grounded I unplugged my radio noticed the cluster go off but come on when I plug it back I’ve unplugged the airbag module under the drivers side seat same thing it just shuts off so I’m kind of at a loss I’ve also noticed that my voltage is different at my alt then at the fuse block which is weird to me any help would be ver helpful please and thank you

Cluster problems are pretty common in those years, but I'd first suspect a bad connection or cable at the battery or grounding points.

I've heard of fuse block issues as well..

Since you mention the voltage is different there vs. alternator voltage.
Might be worth taking it apart to check the connections underneath..

The under hood fuse block can be unbolted, inspected and cleaned. Occasionally the lugs that tighten the block down aren’t tightened to spec.

Start with replacing the +\~ battery cables. They rot from the inside out and pizz off the 5v can bus (DTC) system so it gives gremlin codes to follow.

This ^^^^^^^. Battery cables can look fine on the outside and be corroded like crazy on the inside. Start by replacing those and see what happens. Pretty common issue on these rigs.
