Instrument Panel Recall

I took my truck in today because I was leaking air from one of my tires and the service tech informed me of a recall out for the instrument panel, anyone know anything about this? I'll post more info once I pick up the truck.

They announced a recall yesterday. Something about how the software could allow truck to slip out of drive while car is moving and go into neutral. Saw it on a gm blog.

Yeah had it done on my tahoe today, though I was told it had to do with incorrectly calculating odometer on the driver information screen.

two separate recalls for them. One for transfer case issue (goes into neutral) and one for instrument panel (Peek in odometer) for mileage in display.

I just had them done at dealership.

for the panel, is it software, or do they replace the whole instrument panel?

Mine was just a "peek in odometer" u didn't notice a difference
