I just saw this thread, and was wondering...... Has anybody EVER in the history of these forums, come up with a part# for the stepper motors for a '99 Tahoe(Old Body Style)?
Seems like I might have better luck finding Bigfoot, but someone....somewhere....at some time....MUST have come across replacements.
I've seen the x25-168 for the '03-'06's, but daaaaaamn..... someones gotta have 'em.

I've sent e-mails to a couple of places that supply for the newer years(Brians Speedometer repair/MCR motor USA), inquiring for the part, or part#.....we'll see.

If anyone knows the answer to this riddle..... let me(everyone) know

http://gmgaugerepair.com/ does them for $110.00 and installs only the updated stepper motors approved by GM and Delphi. Be aware of cloned motors on the market and on eBay!

Funny thing. My gas guage needle is vibrating and I was going to post a question on it. Do I have the same issue?

fixed by the same method anyway. but yes chances are your gauge is bad if it is vibrating.
