Sup peeps..I got rear-ended the other day and I have little damage to my rubber/plastic mat on the bumper and there is a little scratch on the back of my tailgate of my truck. I got some quotes and they are telling me that I need a new bumper and my tailgate to be repainted. I think the body shop is adding things to make money off of the insurance people. My question is, should I get this replaced and fixed or pocket the money cuz I personally think the tahoe is fine and the only problem is the lil scratch, but I can buy some paint to cover that up with. I know this might be hard to answer since you cant see the damages. Let me know what you think. Thanks

If it is the other person's insurance paying, I would pocket the money and put it toward something else for the truck. IF it your insurance paying for it I would cancel the claim to avoid increases in premiums later.
