So I'm trying to decide if I should sponsor the forum or not (obviously its an awesome forum!) as we have limited products for this platform (custom IPC/BCM programming etc) but one of them is a software based lock pick. 100% factory no extra hardware for 2/3 of the price, it unlocks all of the feature lockouts including DVD etc for the 2011+ (I believe its 2011 but it might be 2012 I'd have to look at my notes) Nav Radios.

The only caveat is it is a ship in service so you have to ship your radio to us for programming (super quick one weekend turn around) and we build a custom calibration just for your truck.

Do you guys have any interest in this type of programming?

I think you would have better luck doing a core charge and exchanging radios but not sure how you would do the unlocking of the VIN.

Thats actually very easy, problem is typically there are minor hardware/software changes between years. Plus should the radio ever fail the dealer would have a hell of a time warrantying a radio with the wrong part number :)

That is true. I was just thinking that most people would be more willing to pay a core charge and return the other radio than to wait for their radio to ship to you and back.

What kind of price are you looking at? If I was to find a radio I would be interested in this.

Full programming (which includes setting up the radio for a vehicle it wasn't in or intended for (bus changes) is $199.

I think there could be a market, the only people I see having a problem would be those who daily drive their trucks and week without a radio would suck lol.

Good luck, I think you have a good idea BTW.
