Interested in 2019 Yukon and have Question

I am considering the purchase of a 2019 Yukon SLT. I found 2 that I really like with low miles. The first has 20” wheels and the second has 22” wheels. I really like the looks of the 22” wheels but was not sure if the ride quality would be a lot worse than the 20’s. Thanks

Unless your road situations are mostly pot holes, you oils be happy with either. I’ve had 20’s, but the last 2 vehicles had 22’s with the same suspensions and I really like the look of the 22’s.

I would test drive them both over smooth and rough roads in order to see which you prefer. I have a section of road that I drive in Washington, DC that just beats me up at 20 mph because of the rough pavement and solid rear axle. I cannot imagine it with 20” or 22” wheels.

We own a 16 SLT with 20” wheels since new. 35k city miles, I live in a tiny island.

Ride was ok with stock Goodyear GTIIs, pretty good with 285/50R20 Michelin Defender LTXs for the last year and some change.

I think tire compound will make a bigger difference with whatever you go with.

Get the one with the 22s if you’re unsure. If the ride is intolerable for you it will be easy to trade down to 20s. I had 22s on both my Denali (with MRC) and SLT and never for a minute thought the ride was rough.

22's here and no issues, but it's not like I'm going off roading either........
Plus the 22's do think look a little better!

I used to switch to 20's with Blizzak's for the winter and 22's for the rest of the year, with my callaway tahoe I used the stock rst 22" wheels for Blizzak's for the winter and Forgeline's for the rest of the year, the winter ride is rougher with 22's compared to 20's, but not that bad
