My '06 Hoe did this too... I set the seat all the way back and programed the setting just like the 1/2 button preferences... Now it doesnt try and kill me lol. I am also a small lad at 6'4" and have been compared to bathrooms made of brick lol.

There has got to be something here. Why would it start doing this?

my 03 Z71 did that too all of a sudden one day. i know it had something to do w/ the battery. but i can't remember if it was when it died or if it was when i took it to the dealer and they had unhooked it for something they did. the only one that was backwards on mine was the front/back.

I took mine apart. there is a whole module that the adjustment switches connect to. There is also a wire harness. I like th idea of switching a wire or two but that seems like a band aid on a problem.

Could it be a programming issue? We must solve this.

I would just reverse the wires...break out a solder gun and get to work bro :waytogo:

I am no electrical guy to save my life but it really sounds like wires are reversed...the production line soldering machine in the factory could have had a hangover that day

I thought that too. However, if you take off the seat plastic planel and expose the adjustment switches, you will see that it is a control module.(hard to get into) and a wire harness. I was hoping for a few simple wires but there are like 10 of them in the harness.

The weird thing is, I am not sure it always did this.....but instead just started one day. What I might do is take off the passenger side, they are structurally mirror images so I won't be able to mount it permanently. I can use to test it. What a pain.

Best case is I trace the wires back to the motor and then do a switch.
Worst case is to replace control module.

If I go digging again I'll snap a few pics. Getting 20" of snow right now.
