On the overhead next to the sunroof and rear hatch buttons the button to power fold the backseat driver side captain chair is not lit up like the others. Is there a fuse for each button or is an actual light behind the button out? Anyone have this happen?

This has happened to my power liftgate button. It is just a $12 switch replacement, I think changing the bulb out would be too difficult of a process as opposed to the cost of a new button.

I would assume so. It's really weird, I had an 09 Denali that had those buttons, then I traded it for another 09 Denali and it didn't have those buttons. I guess it was removed mid-production year for 09's

Yeah, the 2010's definitely don't have those buttons overhead, so yours is a later production 09. I made a thread asking why after my mom got her 2010 Escalade, because they aren't up there and we used them quite a bit.

SLTexas, you can definitely swap this out yourself. All it takes to remove the overhead console is to remove the light cover, and there are 2 bolts inside it, should be easy to find. Then it just pops out as it is held in by retainer clips. And I think the switches are just held in by tiny clips themselves.
