So, I have a mix of interior. I've got Denali door panels and dash bezel. (Pewter) and Escalade seats and center console (tan).... I prefer the black Denali wood. The escalade console has the brown wood down the center. I want to hydro dip it to the black wood. Now, should I just dip the brown wood and only have the center black wood, or paint the center Denali dark silver, and dip the outsides in black wood, like a stock Denali console. Or do it all in black wood? Also, what can I do to help blend the tan to pewter? Just looking for opinions, as to what might look "cleaner". I can't decide.......

if you want it to look clean and OEM-= Denali Silver on the inside and dip the outside in black wood- (like the picture shows)

my Denali center (silver) is peeling off pretty bad- so I’m also debating on what I should do- I like the original look also, but I’m sure there are creative things that can be done to make it look good-

here s what I’ve been thinking of doing.

I know it’s kind of "ricey" but I was thinking of wrapping the center sections in carbon fiber vinyl wrap-
2nd- is to wrap it in suede…
3rd was to just redo it stock-

Hopefully someone else can give more ideas..

I did the same console in my 02 Sierra, and my knee bolster / glove box didnt match the console either. I used SEM paint and painted everything, even the leather top. Never peeled, never felt like it was painted, and lasted a LONG time. I dont remember the exact color, but thats what I would do to match. As for the wood, I love the Denali wood.

I just dont know how that paint will look on the Escalade center. If it doesnt come out well, then it mght be ruined. I would just get a Denali center and sell that Escalade center; you should be able to make your money back. If you get one with the center paint peeling, you can always paint it.

I purchased one of those total interior refresh kits that is Carbon fiber. It gets rid of the black center piece that always flakes and it look great in carbon fiver. It covers all of the wood grain in my 04 Denali. It cover the side doors like where the window switches are its all wrapped in Carbon fiver. The rear vents for heat or cols have Carbon fiver wrap around those, the rear temp and radio control is wrapped. the temp gauge up front, the upper panel that opens your garage door and open the moon roof is covered. It covers the whole panel around the gauges the Gauge cluster is covered with carbon fiver and that really pops it off. It has a small piece that goes on the steering wheel which is small but noticeable. The center cubby whole has a carbon fiber strip does down the middle leaving the outside of the stitch the color of the interior. I love the new look of my front panel and a portion of the back. I would recommend this to anyone who is bored with their boring dash. It cost $250 to get the real carbon fiber mask but is well worth it and I would do it over and over again if I get anymore Denali's or SUV's it makes it look more luxurious and expensive.
