So ive been following Scotty Boy's guide to doing the LEDS interior. i was working on the drivers side buttons for all the windows, window llock, lock and unlock door buttons. i had it all hooked up, tested it with a battery and they worked. Then when i plugged it back into my door, the lights didnt work and the unlock and lock button doesnt work. my FOB still unlocks and lock but the door button doesnt do anything now.

Did touch anything while you were adding the lights? The only other thing I can think of is the plug being turned around on the panel.

i didnt touch anything, i just placed the lights in, hot glued them into place, brought all the hots and spliced together and same with the neutrals, then just taped into the 2 solder pins that scotty boy's guide said.i took a battery and tested them and the lights worked, so i plugged it all back in and nothing and the lock/unlock button doesnt work now. and somehtihng else i noticed, when i over ride the headlights and jsut turn them on, the dinging noise or alarm to let you know you left them on doesnt go off anymore. not sure why.

-i got the passenger door switches to light up idk why this side wont work, kinda frustrating.

I ended up taking the lights out, im not sure why the lights didnt work. i tested voltage on the 2 pins on the socket after i unplugged the switches and i had voltage, when i plugged the switches back in, no voltage. not sure why. i tested continuity and had it but not sure.

Sounds like you need to go through ALL of your fuses and make sure there isn't one blown before you do anything else. GM piggy backs circuits onto other ones alot of times and you can blow a fuse that isn't labeled for your problem!

As for the light problem, Double check the spot where the OEM bulb was soldered to the board. Sounds like you have a short right there. Make sure ALL of the old bulb leads are gone and nothing is left to short against each other.

As far as the locks, make sure that the switch is not binding because of how you glued the LEDs in place. I have done that before. You need to leave a little slack so the switch has room to move and work properly.

Interior Lights Problem

Scotty i didnt think of that. i did end up taking on of the old bulbs out but i never did the other one...idk how they could be touching bc those solder points are on the underside of the circuit board which i cant reach. and for the lock/unlock, i took all the lights out that i glued in and they still dont work. idk,

its way to cold out to take a look so itll be a while until i can in there
