Any thoughts on where this is coming from? It showed up about 30 minutes into a hard rain. New to me 16 Yukon. I pulled off the trim and did not see any trace of water inside.

Some people used find water issues coming from the roof antenna. Is the windshield original

I'm betting its the shark fin antenna. I had a leak from mine (2016 Yukon), and when I took it in, there was an HD2500 Silverado in the service bay, same issue, and the rental Suburban they gave me, guess what? Also had a water leak. The service writer said the issue is very wide spread. Mine had to go to the body shop as the sheet metal underneath the antenna needed to be flattened, so they could get a good seal with the replacement antenna. Since the replacement, dry as a bone. Good luck.

^^^ This . . .
Agree, I did the same - got a replacement OnStar antenna and all is good again. Lame design and lame that GMC doesn't fix these before they go out the door

It was the antenna. Dealer replaced it and my carvana warranty paid for it. I haven't had it in the rain yet so we will see if it worked!

Water leak is back. So, its back to the dealership again next week. Of course, its the rainy season here, and I have to park outside. The Yukon is wearing a "hat" on its shark fin antenna, constructed of duct tape, courtesy of the dealership, for now. The service adviser said they are doing a steady business repairing water leaks under warranty, many, many Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons/Escalades/Silverados/Sierras are coming in, for the same exact issue, traced to the shark fin antenna.

My wife thought the same thing. Although, the vehicle has never been parked under a tree, has been frequently washed, and is often parked indoors while I'm at work. I just find it unlikely that debris could block the sunroof drains. Anyway, it goes in on Tues, so we will see.
