Over the last year or so I have been getting a service suspension message periodically. I have not been able to narrow it down to when it does it and when it doesn't, it just acts like a mind of its own and the system chooses when to work and when not to.

My father in law ran a code reader on it when it first happened and got the C0660 code, which I know references a compressor / exhaust valve problem. My question is what would make this thing work sometimes and not others ? Possibly a bad wire inside ?

Is it best to just change out the compressor and be done with it or could there be another issue ? This is on an 08 yukon denali.

Thanks

There is a wire that corrodes on the compressor there is a good write up about it here somewhere. If you search you will find it. If you have the coin a new compressor wouldn't hurt after all these years. Easy enough to change yourself

Think I found it. It's where the white and blue wires are exposed and he spliced a new white wire.

Thanks
