Used 93 octane tune and turned off that displacement on demand crap, didn't touch any other settings. No more searching for gears, transmission clunking or whining sound going from v4-v8 when turning. 218 mile trip 20.8 mpg 63mph avg speed. 220 mile return 20.9 mpg 66 mpg avg speed. 9030 odometer. My 2010 denali could disable the v4 in tow mode or putting gear selector on M6, the 15's lost that ability.

^^^ This. I haven't done the 93 tune, but the 87. Loving the more predictable feel of the vehicle now.

Thanks for the reply. I know I'm a first time poster but long time reader. Just tired of reading all the comparisons between a 2015 and the so called 2015.5 or whatever it is now. The 6 speed and the 8 speed still have the same overall 7.0 gear ratio. I used the 93 octane cause it has only ever seen 91-93 from Shell since I picked it up. I would have considered trading it for a 2016 but I will stay with my usual 2 and a half year-ish trade in time now that the gear searching and the stuttering is gone. I have no personal or financial interest in Diablo but this really made the difference in taking a few thousand dollar hit vs a 320 $ tool I can use in the future with updates.

NO doubt. Altho my original plan was to get this.. due to restraints on the 6.2L when I purchased.. and then next summer trade up to the Escalade Platinum.. I'm with U in that I will probably wait til 2016 to get rid of the Yukon. Its a pretty awesome vehicles.. and while not my beloved Cadillac.. still super premium nonetheless
