So, I wanted to put my iPad mini in my dash so I gave my local car audio place a call and they quoted me around 1400$ to install it. Needless to say, I ended up finding another alternative. I bought two of the Scosche Magic mounts from Best Buy. (You can get them from Amazon much cheaper). I put the included magnets on the back of my iPad and with two of the mounting brackets, it holds very sturdy and you practically have to pry it away from the magnets to get it off. I think one bracket will hold it just fine but with two, it's much sturdier. Below are some pics.....

It doesn't sit super flush to the dash but it doesn't stick out from the dash that much either. This cost me a little less than 50$ to do altogether. Next, I'm gonna try to find a wood rain iPad skin to put on it so the white doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

By the way, I stream music from the iPad using a iSimple Tranzit Blu HF via Bluetooth so there aren't any wires anywhere. I have my phone hooked up to the factory Bluetooth so I can still do hands free calling. Overall, it's a pretty clean set up
