Ipod adapter

Any one ever just add an ipod adapter to there stock bose system
? If u did was it worth while or just get a new head unit.

I looked into getting the ipod adapter but the were at the tune Of $400! My buddy has one in his tahoe and the integration is not for me. Plus it I went ahead and bought a used double din of CL and installed it for half the price. I personally would say get a new H/U you also get a whole lot more features than just iPod Features.

That is what I was thinking the consensus was going to be. I still have a good Kenwood excellen that has the 120 gig keg unit that I could install. The keg software is very out of date and there is no support. It was the predecessor to the ipod in the car.
