is adaptive cruise standard on a High Country Suburban?

I am a bit confused as some incoming 23 Suburbans HC show a $500 option for adaptive cruise. Mine is coming in and it does not show it on the window sticker.

No, I do not believe it is standard. As you note, it lists it as a $500 option on Build and Price. However, the order guide for the High Country has this note:

Beginning with start of production through October 2, 2022, vehicles will be forced to include (07Z) Not Equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, which removes Adaptive Cruise Control and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking. Vehicles will instead include Electronic Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking. See dealer for details or the window label for the features on a specific vehicle.

So if your vehicle was produced before October 3rd, chances are it was removed from the factory even if you requested it in your build. There have been many people on this forum who had that happen to them with Yukons. If your build date was after Oct. 3rd and you had it in your build, you should see it on the window sticker when available.

Thanks! I looked at my workbench info my dealer gave me and it looks like it was built 9-30-22. ACC is not on my window sticker but is listed in the workbench list of all the components as KSG - Adaptive Cruise Control

Bummer..sounds like you are one of the unlucky ones who had it removed just prior to production

Yeah, never had it before so at least I wont miss not having it.

The workbench info was printed in the sales mgr office as we waited on 10-5-22. Odd it would list KSG on the build list of items.

Bunky319 is 100% correct as my 2023 Yukon Denali Duramax was built around the July 18th 2023 production start timing and it does not include ACC, even the the build sheet says it did. I was concerned at first and now(perhaps making myself feel a little better ) it's totally fine without it. I had a 2021 previously that included it and the slowing for a car and accelerating could be very abrupt and unnatural. The truck is terrific though!!

Sounds good. My longtime salesperson at my local dealer hates ACC. I have never had it so no problem on my end. Hopefully this beast shows up in the next week or so. I have an approx delivery date on 10-22-22 but it hasnt shown up on dealer or Chevy website in inventory.

ACC is not standard on Denali or high country, it’s a $500 option and just came available again 10/3 build week.

When I got my Honda Accord in 2017, in my mind I just "had to have" ACC. I got the Touring trim because that got me both the V6 and ACC. After having it for the last 5 years I don't really care for it. I prefer to be more in control and I can anticipate situations better than the computer does - there's time where the ACC starts braking and I don't want it to. It seems it's so hyper-focused on keeping the set distance that it doesn't allow a bit of "slack" for when someone merges in front of you. You're not missing anything IMO.
