anyone know if the rear cargo cover will go over third row seats?

Yes it goes if the seats are bended.
I'll post a picture tomorow.

That's correct. There are two different mounting positions on the side trim panels for the cargo cover. One for 3rd row up. And the other when the 3rd row is folded or removed. I have Suburban.

Was this a factory option? I have the groove/slot in my rear panels. I looked in the owner's manual for some kind of reference to it but didn't find one.
BTW-I have an 03 Tahoe.
