is it possible to turn Stabilitrak completely off? I mean any other way than pulling ABS fuse out?

Nevermind, already answered. I was too slow to type

I can only speak from my personal experience, I don't think holding that button for few second turns it off, I know it says off on the display, but when in off road situation and in 4 hi, I pull out the ABS fuse and truck acts totally different. Almost like it has more power like nothing is holding back. Especially on sand. As I said IHMO.

It's easier to install a switch on that fuse so you don't have to get out in the mud... lol

Standard on all SUVs in 2007+.

Not sure about the missing JL4. I do know that JL4 means you will have 6 flex lines instead of 5. There will be two coming over the rear axle instead of one.

Here are my codes for my 2007 Yukon XL SLT, all the literature says Stabilitrak, just dont see the code, no big deal I suppose.

Mine shows both JD9 and JL4. Sometimes they combine features and reuse an RPO number. When hunting for mine, we were looking for JL1 and JF4.

I saw on other forums that says you perhaps cannot have Stabilitrak on a 2WD vehicle. Another said you cannot have it if you have the G80 locker which mine does. Hmm. Once I buy it, I will take it to the dealer to have checked out.

Don't know about 2wd. But am positive the G80 does NOT exclude it.
