Is there an easy way to get my cluster to light up again?

2005 Cluster is all soldered. You will have to open it all the way up. There are a number of write ups on replacing bulbs, retrofitting led, using led strip, etc etc.

Alternative if you don't want to do it yourself is to send it out. There are couple places mentioned on the forum.

One comes to mind Digital Dash Solutions. They can do LEDs, quick turn around time, new stepper motors as needed and even a trans gauge if you don't have one.

Just something to consider.

Just paid for a guy on E-bay to do mine, complete rebuild including LED's for $79.00. Sending it out tomorrow morning via USPS, Priority 2-3 day mail. He says next day turnaround from the day he gets it, so figure another 3 days back to NY - I should have it back in my hands by next Wednesday.

And just FYI, your vehicle WILL run and drive fine without the cluster installed. You just wont have any MPH indication or coolant temp, oil pressure notification, etc.

I can't say for sure, I don't know if the memory is in the cluster, or in the PCM. Maybe someone that has swapped a good cluster in for a bad one would know.
