Brand new member...I have been searching for DAYS and can't find a solution to this warning on the dash....

I just bought a 08 and the PO said he had the dealer completely eliminate all of the air ride shock on all 4 corners, but the dealer told them the SSS message would remain.

To try to get rid of this message, I wired a 25 watt 3.9 ohm resister at each old shock and tested and the SSS message still appears.

Now I read something about disconnecting negative battery and pull RTD fuse, but I can't find any fuse listed as RTD.

Can ANYONE help?

In the under hood fuse block, left side, 4th slot down. First slot is TRL R TRN, under that is TRL B/U, under that is VEH B/U, under that is RTD. Right above the HDLP relay.

Here is my fuse diagram. It doesn't seem to match your description

Oops I thought you had an 06. Sorry. I'm not sure of the location on an 08. I had another time that light came on after I had the resistors installed and it was a connector up near the front right frame rail in the fender well that a shop had accidentally unplugged. I realize mine is a NBS and yours is a NNBS so it's not the same but maybe look for unplugged connectors. I can't find any info for an RTD fuse on the 08's.
