Is this normal?

so I have been randomly getting odds and ends for my tahoe that it was missing when i bought it. I got the key/seatbelt alarm for it since mine was missing. (waste of 20 dollars i know) the question i have is, is every time i open the door, key out if the ignition, lights off it makes its alarm noise at me, is that suppose to do that?

Probably why the module is missing in the first place. If your interior light shut off as they should then your Key-In Warning Buzzer Switch is shorted as described by your facts.

yeah i was thinking of that as i was ordering it, i should have.haha but everything works fine dome light and all just always comes on when i open the door, just wondering if that was normal
