Thats a nice install and intake.
I want one but want to make sure its loud as I know it has a cover?
Do you know, or anyone else (inc. Volant1), if its loud on the 07-up models

And also tell your friend the rough idle may be due to the manifoled nit being bolted down completely and leak free.
Also I have heard of the car computer needing to adjust to a new intake, so if true then the roug idle will stop soon.

well, i had a volant on my 2002 yukon denali... same exact setup, full cover box, and i loved it... it was nice and loud, you could really hear a good combo of the mechanical sound from the 6 liter and a good note from the exhaust plus, imo, it looks the best when installed, very clean. so i can imagine that with the 6.2, it probably sounds nice

That sucks because I have a 5.3 so it may not be as loud.

I have one installed on my LTZ Suburban and it sounds good... especially at WOT. Got a nice "throaty" sound. You won't be disappointed!
