I have two dogs, three kids. We have field mice and rats. The neighbours have fruit trees that sustain them.
We have one bait station in the back yard away from the kids and dogs. The f’d up critters gather the dog crap and put it inside the rat bait station like it’s furniture. They prolly put it in there to throw off predators trying to make them think dogs are in the bait station LOL!?!
In the garage we use sticky traps. If the critters are alive when I find em they go in a ziplock bag to asphyxiate and keep any fleas from jumping off. We use this brand and they work XLNT.
