very similar to what I had done to my 04 Silverado SS with a JL stealth box... made a small carpeted cover/bridge to conceal the wires...

Thank you. Its powering Infini Kappa Perfect Components up front and Infiniti Kappa components in rear. Sub is yet to come....I want an 8W7 in rear stock location so it will be custom box to make it fit. I have some tools that are stored neatly above the amp.

That is clean. Gives me a great idea to do the same to my JL XD700/5.

How does the cover/bridge connect/stay in place over the wires at the back of the amp and the back of the floor?

that cover was made of glued and stapled thin plywood, sanded and contoured to fit the gap, carpeted, and male side velcro placed on the bottom side to mate with the carpet (probably over-kill because it really couldn't move anyway)

now that i think of it... now a days, you could probably match the carpet even better just by going to a junk yard a cutting pieces from a wrecked late model...
