Aircraft Mechanic by trade, Blazer'Hoe driver by day.

Picked her up from a guy who came into it from a dead friend. Needless to say it needed some real work (4wd was gone, rear was gone, engine was misfiring, hard shifting) but..

It was free. Tossed him the keys to my rusted out S10 ZR2 5spd and drove her home. At 232K miles I expected worse but actually found another diamond in the rough. Only rust was fenders, tail gate, and small 3x5 patches forming behind the doors.

As it stands my 'Free' truck has cost me $1200 in parts and labor to chase the gremlins and I actually don't mind it. Granted as an aircraft mechanic I farm the work out because at the end of the week the last thing I want to do is do menial wrenching. It's like being an accountant and doing quick books in your spare time..

It sucks.

But I digress.

Truck is a 1 owner truck (guy I picked it up from was given power of attourney so I got it out of the estate) with 232,215 miles. Yeah, that's right. It's a Majestic conversion truck, only 2dr Tahoe that I've ever seen done that way. Plush as all get out with all the trimmings that you could get in a '95 (except for the OAT/Compass gauge).

Always loved C/K trucks.. and I just love this beast to death.

And yes, the Camaro is mine. 2010 LS3/6spd manual. The way god intended!
