I had a 2005 Tahoe last year and wanted something more sporty. I got an 2006 Infiniti FX35 AWD. While not lightning fast, it was certainly more sporty. Had the 20" wheel and performance suspension. After a while I began to tire of such a stiff suspension, kinda small interior(I'm 6'3" 250lbs) and limited cargo room.
So last night i traded it for a 2007 Black Yukon Denali. Fully loaded as far as I can tell. What a nice truck. I considered a Tahoe because I really think they are sharp looking, but I wanted the bigger engine. Of course now it seems too lumbering and boaty, compared to my old car. I'll probably do something to the suspension to firm it up a bit. Less than 24 hrs and I'm talkin' mods:emotions122:

Welcome on!
Nothing wrong with talking mods in the first 24 hours, I was already doing mods lol!
I say you lower it a little bit (maybe just the rear 2") and get some aftermarket sway bars (Eibach makes good ones). Those will get rid of your boatiness issue.
BTW I have a rear 2" lowering kit off if you want.

Mine seems pretty level right now, although too high. I think rear only would wrong. I am leaning toward the Pedders self leveling sport package.

Well either way I feel like I am saving you money by offering my kit as you have to remember since you have a Denali they all have Autoride.
Which then means that you can't get the Pedders sport kit because you have to keep those factory Orange/Black (The Pedders sport kit gives new red shocks) shocks or your car will throw so many codes/issues you may not be able to count them.
That being said, Pedders can only offer your there front/rear coils, bumpstops and Autoride linkages to lower your Denali.
Then upon that, the Denali can only be lowered in the rear with a 3" kit, nothing else will work.
So my price of $140 shipped will save you atleast $55, and all you will need in the front coils and sensors and your done.
BTW incase you dont like Pedders, Belltech makes good stuff too.
Another issue is I suggest you dont lower your front end with coils because unless you swap the shocks it will ride rough (My Pedders kit did until I installed Bilstein HD struts). And remember you can't change your front shocks, so spindles up front is the only way to go for lowering your denali up front.

I appreciate your offer and I am considering it. Did you measure exactly how much it dropped? What brand and part number?
I measured from wheel opening to floor of the garage and the rear is 1 7/16" higher than the front. 2" in the rear might be weird, being lower than front. I don't suppose anybody makes a 1" front drop?
I do think sway bars would help a lot too.

Sway bars will make a nite and day difference with handling, Eibach is the best way to go if you want that (www.ajusa.com).
I say you do this: run the 2" front Belltech PRO coils, it is adjustable with a spacer and can give you either 1" of drop, or 2" if you want.
DJMDirect, a vendo on here can get you new Belltech stuff for really good prices, I got my equipment from him!
Then you can run my Pedders kit and get your additional 2.2" of drop out back and not have to worry about shock extenders as you will not need them with the Pedders progressive wound rear coil.
BTW if oyu did not know, the Pedders kits handle real good, thats why the Police use them on there cars. :Handshake:

The Pedders kit I was considering is 4 springs and new sway bar links and bushings for $400. Supposed to handle well, but I imagine bigger sway bars would be better.
