18,000 miles for an 04 is so unheard of. Nice find!

Thanks. I tried doing a search online to get an idea of pricing (comparisons) before i bought it. He was originally asking $20k. I did a nation wide search on cars.com, autotrader, and a few others and couldn't find ONE 2004/2005/2006 Tahoe or Yukon being sold with under 20k miles....

BTW, did you ask why it's so low mile?!?!

According to the salesman, the original owner needed money fast. (Why the original owner didn't sell it to a family member or friend, no clue!) Supposedly he was in his mid 40's, him and his wife each had their own vehicles, this Yukon was more for vacations for them, etc.

From the way it feels and drives, and from the way the undercarriage and the engine looks, i don't think it was used for anything more than taking kids to soccer practice every now and then.

After i purchased the vehicle, I went back a couple days later to get the spare keys w/remote (the guy had forgot to include them). They were still in their manufacture ziplock back from 2004 from when the guy had bought it brand new, haha.

Craziness. Def good luck on my part. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have MUCH to learn, i'll be doing some major research within the next few weeks.

its probally such low miles cause it spent most of its life in the body shops after wrecks and in the service department chasing electrical nightmares...

hahaha totally kidding. great find though.

Welcome to the forum. Nice price for the miles and age. Id rather pay the extra money now for something with low miles then trying to fight with costly repairs on something with over 200,000 miles

The interior is of course very well kept, however it is also very basic. None of the bells and whistles, but I don't really mind, more stuff to ADD later on :)

It is cloth interior, 3rd row seats, stock CD player, stock sound.

4x4, everything is 4-wheel drive in the Rocky Mountains, ha.

I'm already putting a nice list together of things i want to do to my Yukon based on all the sweet stuff i'm seeing here..
