Just changed oil now my pressure is crazy low!

well i had changed my oil pump then no luck drove it like that too see if it would fix itself then yea the bearings and crankshaft were the issue. its most likely gonna need to get torn down and swap all the bearings and the crankshaft. if the bearings look like worn keys then yea they are bad...

Mine did the exact same thing.

I am talking about after I changed oil pumps.

lol, that was my thought with the dipstick, i thought maybe you just didnt wipe it, but then thats still pretty high in my experience, ha, but drain some and check the oil, maybe run it for a bit to let it pump thru the system a bit and see where its at

marvel mystery oil will thin the oil out. that is what it is designed to do.

When I turned it on though it is idling fine and the oil stays at 40 but that is before I drive at all.

You do know that cold oil will run crazy high pressure as compared with hot oil, right? The only oil pressure number that really means anything is the hot number. Unless of course the cold number is crazy low off the scale.
