Just found the grossest thing ever in my car!!!
Okay, so, I just bought my Yukon on Mothers day for my wife. We in test drove it, gave it the look over, and everything was fine. A couple days go by and I load everyone up, including the dog (Yorkie), and go show the car off to the in-laws. Not soon after that I'm smelling what I think is pee, oh great the dog done pissed in the new car. Well, I just got some stuff in from online and went out to pop the hood and look to see how and where things are going to go. I start too look around and see this, yes a tail! I thought at first a small snake but then notice the hairs and what looks like where the tail may have connected to the body, YUK!!!!!

Just wait if you ever get a chance to clean out something that would classify as a barn find as dirty as it is. I was cleaning off the heating ducts in my 94 suburban to find the blower resistor pack. Pulled out a ball of crap. It was a dead mouse all festered up with dead babies stuck to it. Truck finally stopped smelling like shit after about a week of airing out.

Growing up I had a friend that had a bad smell, I mean rotten to the core, it ended up being a dog leg caught up on his muffler.

I was smelling something dead and rotting in the shop. The smell was strongest around our 68 Cadillac. I finally discovered a dead mouse behind one of the front wheels. Finally got that issue figured out.

Well, no. The smell continued. I searched some more. Turns out said mouse was trying to return to HER nest. I guess the bait finally got to her. Her pups were in a nest made of hood insulation. After I gut that dug out, things started smelling more normal in the shop. That was the second time a hood insulator was used as a nest. Now, all of our vehicles stored in our shop are kept hood up.

And non-factory hood insulation does NOT fit as well as OEM, no matter how much the vendors say they do!
