I just got a 99 Yukon 4 door 4wd. I want to lift the truck but there are restrictions due to my budget at 19!
All Im interested in doing is being able to go off-roading with my buddies on the weekend.
My question is would just doing a 3 inch body lift be worth while for my use.
I am also wondering if 33 inch tires would fit with just the 3 inch body lift?
would they fit on my stock rim..?
Thanks for your help.

You can fit 285/75/16 on stock wheels stock with maybe cranking the torsion bars a little

33" tires will clear as stated with a little crank, the 3" body lift will give you some room to "flex" a little.

(IFS...Flex...???)

Besides the 3in body lift. What would be the most economical way to get a sturdy lift and big tires...?
Thanks.

RCX makes a 3" susp kit for around $519.00. I have gotten a quote of $705 installed by the local RCX dealer. I plan on going that route instead of the body lift (never been a big fan). I will be running 295x75x16 Nitto's. I am going to run stock wheels unless they rub.

Oh yeah, I have a 99 four door as well.

I'm not a fan of body lifts either, but I'm on a pretty tight budget.

I've got a 3 inch BL, 2 inch blocks, cranked the shit outta the torsion bars, and 285 all terrains. It's not much, but she's got me out of some pretty ridiculous situations lol.

You should wait and save up your money for a 6" lift. You are going to want it higher and will regret your purchase. :emotions122:
