just springs?

If you don't want to mess with the keys too much you could always use a spacer with the springs. I put a spacer in my springs until I was able to drop my front to match.

I lowered my denali by cranking the front keys and drop springs in the rear with a modified air ride rod. Here is a pic.

By cranking I imagine you mean you tightened or righty tighty, except to drop I'm positive you loosen the adjustment screw. Just sayin cuz this can be confusing to people.

Yes by loosening the bolt will lower it and tightening it will raise it.
