K&N off of an escalade

My buddies dad still has his K&N intake off of his old 07 Escalade that wont fit his 2010 Escalade because they changed something. He said i could have it if it fits my tahoe. I have an 04 tahoe LT with the 5.3L and they engine it came off of was an 07 6.2L. Does anyone know if this would fit?
