Hi.

What fuel pump should I get?
Are the flexifuel pump the same as K53?

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...fuel+&+air,fuel+pump+&+housing+assembly,10147

The car is a export 2002 with the 5.3 non flexifuel. :)

To the problem, after sitting over night the car will need some cranking to start, have gotten worse the last days. Did get check engine light yesterday, have nothing to read it out the code but after 6 starts it did go away.
Have noticed the pump sounds less now then before, so something isn't right. :)

I am not saying that I will buying one right now but if needed I want to know what pump goes in my car. :)

Thanks. :)

What is the 8th letter in your VIN? T?

If you have the K53 RPO code then this seems to be the right fuel pump:

Flex Fuel pumps are not the same.

@Fless

Yes I have a T-car. :)
Thanks for the help! :)

It was very expensive sadly. The exchange rate doesn't makes it better right now upon that live in one of the highly taxed countries in the world.
Even are so sick that I must pay VAT on the hole shipping cost even in your country.

I will have it home for 383.71 Dollar :D

Any chance that I can find a pump for the same setup but maybe for less? :D

Hopefully you can find a fuel pressure gauge to do some tests before you buy an expensive fuel pump.

If you can buy from Amazon that might be less expensive. Maybe other members here have suggestions for shipping to Sweden.

A update on the problem.

We did get a real throw back here on the weather and did get snow and cold temperatures. The car work like a charm, do start right away as earlier and no engine light.
I doesn't make any sense other then if I have a real problem it could be a soldering problem or something that's getting tighter when it's cold down.

Anyway time will tell. :)
