I noticed today while I had the rear hatch open that the rear blower motor was running with the key off. I checked the front blower and it was not running.

I paid attention and it went off then a little later it came back on and the front blower was on as well.

A little later they both went off and stayed off.

I guess this is normal "Afterblow" behavior???

@swathdiver

Got any ideas James? You ever notice this with yours?

I never gave much thought to the rear blower working with the Afterblow feature, but I guess it makes sense.

Took me about a year to catch it working one day, since then I have noticed a few more times, usually the rear fan is running too for a few minutes. Don't pay it much mind.

My Optima red top just kicked the bucket the day before Thanksgiving. 4 years old and had 230 CCAs. I would have gone with another one but they have increased too much in price to justify it. I paid $183 4 years ago and now they are $269! That's more than 10% annual inflation which is crazy. Replaced it with a new Die Hard AGM (have to say I dig their new commercials.)

Is that that thing that increases your gas mileage so much that you'll have dollar bills coming out the fuel cap?

How did you guess???... lol

Nice! What bushing is it for?

The Kevlar reinforced polyurethane bushing is for the passenger side of the steering rack. The metal bracket is to reinforce the existing rubber bushings and clamp the driver side of the steering rack to the frame better.

Hopefully it does what it is designed to do.

My steering doesn't have excessive play anyway so I'm hoping I will actually be able to notice the difference.
